This is an informational website for a Pennsylvania charity. By using it, you agree to the terms below. They are short and there is nothing hidden in them.
Who we are
Haven Harbor Heritage is the public brand name of Haven Harbor, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation recognised by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 41-5217393), at 3202 Wilson Ave., Aliquippa, PA 15001. These terms cover havenharborheritage.org and havenharbor.org.
Using this site
You may read, print and share anything on this site for personal or non-commercial purposes. Please do not use it to break the law, to interfere with the site or its security, or to harvest information about other people.
Donations
Donations are processed by Give Lively, with payment handled by Stripe. Your gift goes to Haven Harbor to support our work building residential care, education and nutrition programs for orphaned and vulnerable children in Burkina Faso.
We are in the construction planning phase and are not yet caring for children. Gifts made now fund that build. We describe our plans in forward-looking terms throughout this site, and we do not claim results we have not yet achieved.
Donations are generally not refundable. If you have made a mistake — a duplicate gift, a wrong amount, an unintended recurring gift — write to us and we will put it right.
Haven Harbor is a 501(c)(3) organisation and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are not tax advisors; please consult your own.
Our content
The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to Haven Harbor unless stated otherwise. The Haven Harbor Heritage name and lighthouse emblem are ours. Please ask before using them commercially or in a way that suggests we endorse you.
If you believe we have used your material without permission, write to us and we will take it down or credit it properly.
Links to other sites
We link to other organisations from time to time, and our donation page is operated by Give Lively. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep this site accurate, and we source our statistics from the UN, UNICEF and OCHA. Even so, information here is provided as-is, without warranties, and may go out of date. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Haven Harbor is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
